Andrea is an experienced Director in Whitehall having worked at senior levels in several Government Departments, managing large budgets and big team in pressured climates.

She's worked at the heart of government strategy and policy, as the most senior official responsible for delivery of the government's objectives for a wide range of subjects, spanning the UK's digital economy, enterprise, media regulation and environmental strategy.

She's also overseen a major organisational change programme, and been responsible for nation wide emergency response coordination, as well as the delivery of major telecommunications infrastructure programmes.

Along the way, she's had to build her own resilience and that of her teams, work out how to bring clarity to confusion, and to manage her own time and resources effectively.

She's learnt as much from failure as from success, and has sought to find balance and fulfilment in a busy work schedule and family life.

Andrea remains a Director at the Department of Digital Culture, Media and Sports and has expanded her remit to provide executive coaching for the Department's senior civil servants. She is passionate about the power of coaching in unlocking people's potential and wellbeing at work.
